Let's Be Honest

 

Let's be honest: some people believe in ghosts, while others do not. However, I believe in ghosts and think they want to show themselves and interact with the living. If you don't believe, that is up to you. If you fear the paranormal, that is okay. If you think it's against God, that is your choice. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

Like A River

 

Life can be like a river; for some, it may feel like you are trying to push against the stream. I have felt the same way while trying to get organized and looking for a new job. Remember to go with the flow, and things will get better.

Well, it's exactly one week since I lost my job! It is so hard to believe that this is actually happening. I have been deep cleaning my house and putting out applications. I am also working on creating more content, with all this spare time. Please feel free to look around, read some of the rough drafts on the stories, and let me know what you think! A Long Day!

Today was a long day! I went shopping with my daughter and then went to her OB appointment. After having five kids myself, hearing her baby's heartbeat brought on a strong sense of emotion. I will admit I almost cried. But I do not want to be an emotional mess, and I was happy to accompany her. But now that I am home, it is back to reality. Freelance, Social media posts, and job applications. Then add a mix of cleaning to the pile, and it's a well-rounded day!

How Life Changes

It's day four of unemployment, and I have already had a breakdown! Thank God I have Red and my kids because I would have lost my ever-loving mind already. When companies let go of employees who were faithful to the company, it's easy for them; all they have to do is click a few buttons on the computer. 

Companies have forgotten that we are living human beings who deserve more than they throw at us. To those whom the company kept? Was the position they placed you in vacated by someone else they fired? God, I hope not. Morally, I would not be able to take the position. What am I doing? Deep cleaning, polishing the resume, freelancing, and working on the blog. Last night I updated fifteen of my stories. I am blessed and will get through this!

A New Day

 I woke up this morning to my phone chirping. Those chirps are the reality that we were screwed by our employer. The funny thing is that those chirps reminded me that our job may be gone. But the group that was thrown away, yes, we feel thrown away. We are working together to get each other through this mess. We were more than just co-workers; we became friends. We are there for each other as we dust off those resumes and venture to our next adventure. Do we wish this had not happened? Of course. Do we know who to trust and who has whose back? More than you will ever know. I would say more about this now, but I am still cooling down and will post a better view on what happened soon. When I post about what happened to us who were let go, I will need a calm and cool head.

Upset!

Well, I have been with a company on and off since 2017. After finally getting a position I had wanted since the beginning, we were informed that we were no longer employed as the campaign I was on pulled out, effective immediately. At 4pm this evening, my fellow co-workers and I are scrambling to figure things out. This is crap but what can I do.

Well, I am filing for food stamps, unemployment, and looking for a new job.

I sat crying after the meeting ended and started to think about it. This could be a blessing in disguise. It will allow me to work on some things and see what comes. So if you want to help me, please share the blog and click on the ads!

Happy Sunday, everyone! I hope you are doing well! Honestly, I am under the weather! That is okay, though, because I will still get everything done that I need to and then some. Under the weather or not, I am organizing myself to continue on with writing and crafting. If things go well, I will self-publish at least four books by August. I also have many more nearing completion. If you want to help a gal out, please click on the ads because that helps me put more time towards writing and the blog! So this gal today will be cleaning, working from home, and making broccoli and cheese soup. Once the other half wakes up, I will also be making crepes to use as wraps and homemade mayonnaise. Trust me when I say, find a recipe you like and never buy from the store again.
