Well, we had a bit of an issue that my kids said there was nothing good and healthy to snack on. To be honest the children in question just didn't want to get up and make their food for school.
I decided to one-up them and make this yummy herb baked tortilla chips. My daughter Sarah already paired these up with Salsa. My Megan said they would be great with Nacho Cheese Sauce.
So easy to make!
4 cups of Flour
1 tsp Salt
2 tsp Baking Powder
6 tablespoon oil
1 1/2 cups water
After this mixture is combined you can add what you like. This time around I added dried herbs. Next time I was considering adding cheese to them.
Portion the item to 8 different sections and roll out. Put rolled out tortilla on a flat griddle or frying pan 2-3 min each side. Set aside to cool. Finish making the rest. Once done cut up into strips, triangles or whichever shape you want to cook at 350 in the oven until golden brown.
